Captain of WiMORE Parma, middle blocker Nicola Sesto, spoke live during the radio show “Palla In Tribuna” broadcast on Radio Parma and conducted by journalist Alberto Dallatana a few days before the eagerly awaited Game 1 of the Round of 16 of the Play Offs Promotion of Serie A3 Credem Banca with the Med Store Tunit Macerata scheduled for next Wednesday at 20.30 at PalaRaschi in Parma. Sesto, who last year centered the “double” championship and Coppa Italia in Reggio Emilia in A2, knows how to face certain matches from inside or outside, in which the entire season is played. “It is a very important, desired, strongly desired race and we are preparing as best we can. Macerata is a team that finished the championship in third place so let’s say that it starts with all the favors of the forecast. It’s true that we beat them both in the first leg and in the second leg, however, it may seem like a cliché but it really is, the Play Offs are another championship. We will have to play our cards well but Macerata has certainly shown that it has something more”.
What is the balance of the first year in Parma so far?
“It has been a very tough year, but I am highly satisfied with the choice. At the age of 35 I wanted to start again from such a warm environment as Parma, in the sense that in any case there is a great tradition linked to volleyball and the challenge was very stimulating. In recent years I have fallen in love with Emilia Romagna, I have no longer sifted through the market offers from other regions. Parma, with its ambition, immediately seemed to me a fairly stimulating environment and a good challenge to win”.
