This is how the new Omifer presented itself, without hiding the goal of playing in a championship as a protagonist behind a finger, at the starting line with an absolute level roster, so much so that, according to the experts, any sextet lined up on the pitch could easily compete to stay at the top of the standings. Premises that are not only evanescent sensations that hover around the blue jerseys but excellent and concrete starting conditions supported first of all by a squad of champions and, at the same time, by a technical staff of undisputed professionals and by a large and qualified managerial organization chart. First of all, it was perceived by the fans who, yesterday evening, in an atmosphere of celebration and joy, demonstrated all their enthusiasm without reservations; the administration is well aware of it, present at the demonstration with the delegated councilor Giuseppe Magazzù, always close to the Palmese volleyball movement; the citizens who are increasingly approaching this splendid reality are fully aware of this.
In fact, it is almost a certainty that the “PalaSurace”, last year, since Omifer’s return to Palmi, a veritable impregnable fortress, is even more crowded with supporters than at the end of the season during which the warmth and passion of the people. The event opened with the hymn of the “Franco Tigano” listened to in preview and composed and sung by Francesco Misale, with the collaboration of maestro Rocco Cannizzaro who made the arrangement and recording. Salvatore Saffioti, lending his voice, and Marco Pugliese also contributed to its creation.
