Another reconfirmation at Volley Tricolore, this time coming from the central department: Nicolò Volpe will play for the Giallorossi for another year: “I’m very happy to stay in Reggio and I’m even happier with this reappointment because, being able to play in the second national series, it’s an emotion. The level is always higher in each category and I’m proud to be able to play in Serie A2”.
Born in 2003, originally from Ciriè, Volpe made his debut in Serie A2 Credem Banca with Conad, after graduating under-20 European champion and best centre-back of the event: “Last year was a great year of personal growth, dealing with players much more experienced than me in this category, but also with others coming from the top flight, it allowed me to take many steps forward. This year I want to continue working as best as possible to grow further”.
Volpe, called up again this year to the under-21 youth national team in view of the World Cup, says he is enthusiastic about Fanuli’s confirmation and can’t wait to get back to the gym: “I’m very happy with Fabio’s reconfirmation, he helped us a lot last season to recover from the dark period we’ve been through. He is a very prepared coach and very attentive to detail, I am sure that, with him in the technical direction of the team, my growth path can improve further day by day”.
