Mirko Miscione will be a new middle blocker in the Lagonegro volleyball rebirth. Born in 1988, originally from Vasto, he will start playing in 2008 in Serie C for Foligno Volleyball until 2011 where he will go to play in Serie B1 in the city of Gaeta. He will play for a year in Olbia to then be called up by Spoleto volleyball in Serie B. He will go up to A2 in 2016 to wear the shirts of Ortona, Santa Croce and Livorno. In 2019 he will play in A3 for Tinet Pordenone, in 2021 for Sabaudia and the following championship for Palmi.

“I am delighted and happy to be part of this Rebirth project. Since the interviews, the Sports Director and Coach Lorizio have shown themselves willing to meet our needs. It will be a difficult championship and expectations are high. I’m quite competitive especially when there are well-set up teams, so I’m fully concentrated for this year. I don’t know coach Lorizio personally, they spoke well of him and I will certainly give him all my willingness and trust to try to create a stable and trustworthy group. I am a player who always believes in the group, when it comes to goals the group is fundamental, it gives that extra value. It helps you in moments of difficulty or simply when the single player doesn’t resolve and the group makes the difference. I remember the Lagonegro fans when I came as an opponent to play, and I really hope to find the same warmth and affection.”

These are the declarations of the central Miscione ready to wear the Rebirth shirt in view of the new championship.
