Allianz Milano is already in Greece where tomorrow, Thursday 21 December 2023, at the Paok Palace Sport in Thessaloniki they will face Paok for the return match of the Cev Cup valid for the Round of 16. This is the last match of 2023 with Europe for coach Roberto Piazza’s team, thanks to the 3-0 achieved in the first leg played last week at the PalaPirastu in Cagliari. In Cagliari, the Macedonian coach Milenkovski played without his opposite number, the Belgian Bram Van Den Dries who is unlikely to be available again tomorrow due to the after-effects of his ankle injury. At Milan, however, the team is complete, with only Yuki Ishikawa, who returned last Sunday against Taranto for the second line, still recovering.
Kick-off at 5pm Italian time, with Milan having to win two sets to ensure passage to the round. In the event of a 3-0 or 3-1 victory in Thessaloniki, they will instead go to the Golden Set. In the next ten days, president Lucio Fusaro’s sextet is expected to play two more tests, the last championship match on Boxing Day in Perugia against Sir Susa Vim, which will also define the quarterfinal grid of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia and the match on 30 December at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago against Valsa Group Modena.
The match will be broadcast live internationally on the CEV YouTube channel at this link:

Monza hosts Athens in the second leg of the Round of 16. Mint Vero Volley must win to go through
Massimo Eccheli’s Mint Vero Volley Monza is ready to return to the field tomorrow, Thursday 21 December, at 8.00 pm, at the Opiquad Arena in Monza where they will face Panathinaikos, for the return match of the round of 16 of the CEV Challenge Cup 2024.
An important challenge, given the tie-break victory for the Monza team in the first leg, in which success, with any result, would mean access to the Quarter Finals of the event. In case of defeat at the tie break, however, Beretta and his teammates would have the chance to play one last chance at the Golden Set.
