Michele Baranowicz is officially a new Cisterna Volley player. The setter born in 1989, 196 centimeters tall, joined the team led by coach Guillermo Falasca for training. Baranowicz, who in his career has worn the shirts of Modena, Lube, Verona, Piacenza, and Vibo, also has a past in the province of Latina where he has already played for two seasons, while abroad he has gained experience in Ankara and Hebar in Bulgaria, his last team.

The director began his volleyball career in Vbc Mondovì and also wore the national team shirt.

«I am happy to have concluded this agreement with Cisterna Volley, a team with great potential that I have already seen in these last matches of the season and also live, in the pre-season – explains Michele Baranowicz, referring to the friendly match that the Pontine team played at the end of September against the Bulgarian team Hebar, a team in which Baranowicz played – There will be a lot of work to do because the calendar will be very tough and for this reason we will have to immediately find ourselves in the gym to work and create a good feeling between us to face the next matches because they will all be very difficult.” The setter, with almost 400 matches in Serie A, originally from Mondovì, will return to the province of Latina where he had already played for two seasons. «I return to an environment that I know and where I enjoyed myself very well even if many things have changed at a club and team level» concludes the director who made his debut for the national team on 18 May 2011 during the France-Italy (0-3), blue shirt with which he won the bronze medal at the Grand Champions Cup in 2013.
