It will be Matteo Meschiari, spiker born in 2002, one of the cornerstones of the Serie A3 of the Diavoli Rosa for the 2023-24 season. A return home to be the undisputed protagonist of the rosanero attack.
Modena by birth, Milanese by adoption. Meschiari, coming from Volleyball Anderlini, experienced the flower of the youth team as Diavoli Powervolley, colors with which he won territorial and regional titles and an Under 19 national bronze to then conclude the under path with the victory, in the 2021-22 season, of the Del Monte Junior League of the Serie A Volleyball League, competition in which he was elected MVP. A florid season for the young Meschiari in 2021-22, in fact called up for the national team, in the blue shirt he boasted the title of Under-22 European Champion.
Many youth successes but Meschiari soon carved out a place in the volleyball “of the grown-ups”. After Serie B with the Diavoli Power shirt, promotion arrives immediately, for the 2020-21 season, in the first team, in the Superlega of Allianz Milano, a path in Serie A which continues in the next one first in Prata, a brief parenthesis in Serie A3, and then A2 at Mondovì. The last season saw Meschiari always protagonist in the A2 championship under Reggio Emilia, a path shared together with another historic Diavolo, Filippo Santambrogio, and Diego Cantagalli, in the rosanero jersey in the 2018/19 season.
Now he is ready to take the space on the pitch he deserves. Perfectionist with great technical qualities, strong temperament and contagious energy. The Diavoli Rosa entrust Meschiari with the role of “bomber” of the Brugherese first team.

We have focused on Matteo since the beginning of the market, aware of his skills, the attack above all, and how much he can give to our team next year. Matteo comes from two seasons in A2, various experiences in the national team, and this year it will be very important for him and for us to give continuity to the game and become more and more a point of reference on the pitch. We are expecting a great year and we are certain that Matteo will be up to this task”.
