A few days after the championship match against Siena, Delta Group Porto Viro announces the name of its new second coach, and it is a great return, that of Massimo Zambonin.
Prof Clodiense, advocate as head coach of the double leap from category B to Serie A2 between 2018 and 2021, has actually never interrupted his relationship with the black and white club, for which he also held the role this year ( and will continue to hold) the role of Youth Sector Manager. After being Technical Director in 2021/2022 and Sports Director in 2022/2023, however, last summer he accepted the proposal to coach Volley Lions Clodia in Women’s B1. An experience that officially ended in the last few hours, thus allowing him to return to Porto Viro to join Daniele Morato at the helm of the Delta Group.
“Returning to where you did well is certainly exciting and the sensations are very positive – comments Massimo Zambonin – The desire to take on a high-level technical role again pushed me to accept the club’s proposal, I think I can make an important contribution both on the technical level and in the management of the team group.
