On the first day of the Serie A3 Credem Banca an absolute record was broken. The tie break played on Sunday at the Pala Vitaletti, on the Plus Volleyball Sabaudia court (25-27), which lasted a full 46 minutes, is the longest ever for all categories. The Plus Volleyball Sabaudia fought like a lion, but at the end of the first championship game on Sunday 15 October they had to give up the honor of arms to their Campania opponents of Shedirpharma Sorrento. Despite the defeat, Sabaudia takes home a point that is still useful for the rankings.
