There are 39 athletes registered for the next Serie A Credem Banca still in the running for the European Championships: below is the complete list of players divided by national team and their club for the 2023/24 season.
In addition to the 14 Azzurri called up by Ferdinando De Giorgi, another 25 players will take to the field between today (8 September) and Sunday 10th to compete for access to the Quarter Finals.
However, 13 (Italy included) of the 16 national teams still “represented” are still playing: in all matches of the Round of 16 there will be at least one player who will take part in the next Serie A Credem Banca. In some matches, Poland – Belgium, Serbia – Czech Republic (the two matches on 10 September in Bari), and Slovenia – Turkey there will be as many as 5, while no “derby” is foreseen in Italy – North Macedonia (9 September in Bari , live at 18.00 on Rai 2 and Sky Sport).
With 4 athletes registered in SuperLega Credem Banca, Serbia is the national team with the most players who will play in Serie A next season (excluding Italy); Slovenia and Belgium follow with 3. Finally, there are countless well-known faces from our championship who have played for a Serie A club in previous seasons.
