A dream debut, in front of 834 official spectators, an incredible setting to which the Yuasa Battery was able to respond on the field by taking a hard-fought but very important victory. A whirlwind of emotions that couldn’t drag even coach Ortenzi: “A lot of stuff really, tonight in the first two sets we were almost perfect, we had a very high intensity, always keeping them down, with a quality of play unlike anything seen before in the championship. Then they returned to the game, we knew it would happen and that the match could become point-to-point; we were even willing to be behind in the score, we knew it could happen. Then in the fourth the desire to bring it home emerged, there were four actions in which we defended a lot, the boys showed that they really cared about giving this crowd such an important success on their debut.”
An audience that certainly cannot leave you indifferent, considering that it is a record attendance for the entire day in Serie A2: “We just need to pay a huge THANK YOU to all these people, we expected a full stadium… but not that full! I’m sure that this victory will give all these people a reason to come back and always be there. With the guys in the locker room we set ourselves the goal of doing something special and in this sport you can’t do something special without a big audience.”
