In a team everyone is important, from the players to the technical staff, through to the doctors, physiotherapists and warehouse workers. After a rather troubled week, Gioele Favaro was not supposed to play due to a physical ailment, so much so that coach Moretti started him from the bench, then during the match he was needed to overcome Acqui Terme’s resistance. In the end Gioele scored 12 points helping Personal Time win its seventh match of this season start: “This was an unexpected victory – comments Favaro – because during the week we had more than a few physical ailments, and this helped us prevented us from training in the best way. Thanks to all the medical staff who did an extraordinary job to recover from physical problems, our success was also born in the infirmary”.
On the match against Acqui Terme: “We could have won 3-0, it ended up being 3-1 and we’re happy with that. Now let’s focus on the trip to Cagliari, a challenging journey that will keep us away from San Donà for two days. Our goal and our hope is to bring home the three points as happened with Acqui. In the gym we will work hard to achieve this goal.”
