Excellent performance by the biancoblu who in the second test match against Consar Ravenna, cameback to win 3-1 with a great team performance, reacting to the initial disadvantage of the first set.
First set Emma Villas Siena begins the match with Nevot at setter, Krauchuk opposite, Milan and Tallone spikers, Copelli Trillini in the center, Bonami libero.
Very good Tallone and Krauchuk. The game lives on a continuous exchange of jokes. The reception from the Emilians was excellent and put the attack of our blue and whites in difficulty. The dunks by Milan and Tallone keep the set alive, but on the visitors’ block, hopes of a comeback are dashed and the partial ends at 23-25 for the guests.
Second set Emma Villas Siena changes the score in the second set restart, Tallone and Krauchuk are still the ones who keep the pace of the blue and whites high, scoring the points that push the Sienese forward. Copelli and Trillini also did well but it was with a block from Nevot that in the middle of the second set brought the score to 16-13 for the hosts. The lead increased with excellent dunks by Krauchuk and Milan until the final score of 25 to 20.
Third set It started again at a high pace for Coach Graziosi’s boys, with a 5-1 run in just a few minutes of play. Then many errors on both sides, which however favor the blue and white up to a +6 advantage (19-13). Nevot’s good performance stands out in this third set, accompanied once again by a superb Tallone in attack. The set closes with another dunk by Krauchuk.
Fourth set Changes in the starting sextet with Gonzi in the role of setter and Picuno as opposite. Graziosi’s men got off to a bit of a slow start and gave the guests a +2 advantage. The blue and whites did not give up and the comeback began which took them ahead 18-17 thanks again to a great Milan team assisted by the usual Tallone. It seems done but Ravenna with an excellent reaction of pride, brings the result to 24 all. The usual Tallone closes the match with an excellent point at the net and closes the set 27-25.
