Setter Francesco Gianotti will stay for another championship in the shadow of the bell tower of San Paolo. The good performances of the 2003 class, often used by Coach Francesco Denora in batting, convinced the staff and the President Ambrogio Molteni to give him another chance in the Canturina shirt. He comes from the victory in the Junior League with the Vero Volley Monza shirt, which has certified his improvements.

We are happy and proud that he then managed to put it into practice in winning the Junior League with Vero Volley Monza, playing in the finals as a protagonist. “I’m happy to stay in Cantù – says Desio’s setter -: I found myself very well, and the environment is well organised. There are many confirmations in the team, and this is very important. With Coach Francesco Denora we have already designed the foundations on which we will have to work, and Coach Alessio Zingoni will certainly give me a hand on a technical level as he has already done. I expect a championship like the one just concluded, very balanced and fought. Being able to replicate what we did last year will be difficult, but we will try. On a personal level, I’d like to play a little more than this year. I would also like to improve a lot in serving and blocking, but there are so many things I have to work on. I’m sure a setter like Pedron will be a good point of reference for me, and I hope he can teach me a lot.”
