In the construction of the 2023-2024 roster designed by Leo Shoes Casarano, the red and blue club has decided to entrust the direction of the team that will face the next Serie A-3 championship to the already known hands of the setter Federico Ciardo.
It is a welcome return for Federico who, after only one season, will return to wearing the red-blue jacket already defended very well in the 2021-2022 sports season when, together with his teammates, he won the play-off semi-final.
The athlete from Salento willingly accepted the possibility of returning to his land and so he contractually linked himself to the company of President Dongiovanni driven by the conviction of being able to replicate and improve the good things shown in the past.
These are Ciardo’s statements at the time of signing: “I am very happy and proud to return to my land, especially wearing the colors of this city once again. When the company contacted me, I had no hesitation in accepting this project. My enthusiasm is always at its best, my intent is always to give not 100% but 110%. One of the reasons that led me to accept was the warmth of the public who always gave the team an extra boost every Sunday. After this long break, I can’t wait to start training again with my new teammates, trying to replicate the same feat achieved last season in the best possible way. I greet all the fans of this club with the hope of rejoicing all together in our successes”
