Yesterday Farmitalia Saturnia returned to training, between sessions in the weight room and ball sessions at PalaCatania. Objective: to arrive prepared for the match against Itas Trentino scheduled for Sunday 26 November.
The match against the Italian champions, in their stadium, will not be a walk in the park, but the blue and white are finalizing all the details to be ready for a challenging match to say the least.
“We are proceeding with our training program – explains Piero D’Angelo, managing director of the technical area – and we know that we will meet a much stronger team, but we are in line with our objective and that is what we we have to look. This first year of SuperLega, we knew it from the beginning, we must carry it forward with patience and determination in order to save ourselves and that is what we are doing.”
After the regret of last Sunday’s defeat against Allianz Milano, Orduna and his teammates have resumed working on the fundamentals, knowing that on Sunday they will still have to do without Manavi, the Iranian player who injured his left knee in the match against Rana Verona, but the morale remains high and, as D’Angelo adds, an awareness remains: “We are not full, but we know that we are able to make up for the absences”.
Meanwhile, the company is already working on the next home matches, to allow supporters to participate in the great Super League spectacle. Pre-sales are therefore active for the matches against Mint Vero Volley Monza (Sunday 10/12 h 4.30pm – €20 Lower Trib. A – €15 Trib.
