After Fanuli’s confirmation, two important names arrive who will complete the Volley Tricolore technical staff for the 23/24 season: Tommaso Zagni will be the second coach and Daniele Paolini will cover the role of assistant coach.

Tommaso Zagni boasts experience with women’s Serie A with clubs such as Sassuolo and Casalmaggiore: “Volley Tricolore contacted me to offer me this possibility and I accepted immediately. I coached in women’s Serie A for a few years, while last season I approached the world of men’s volleyball in Serie B. Returning to A2 with Volley Tricolore, which has achieved great success in recent years and is a historic club in our area , it gave me a big push and big motivations”.

Conad is preparing a high-level roster led by a respectable staff, already grappling with the planning of the new season: “I met Fabio and Daniele, I find they are competent people with whom I share the idea of working for season 23 /24. The best thing for the team will be to be able to work as a team to achieve excellent results during the season. The team is competitive, it will be a mix of players who already know the square of Reggio and players who will be able to integrate well. I hope that every athlete will give 100% and more.”

Daniele Paolini therefore closes the technical staff, in his first experience in Serie A he decided to get involved to put his skills at the disposal of Fanuli’s team: “In my career I have coached to the maximum in Serie B; in 2021/2022 I was part of the women’s Sere B2 in Rubiera, where I had the opportunity to see the reality of Volley Tricolore up close, which I have known for a long time for the history it has in the city, while the following year I switched to the men’s always in B. I was looking for something more in terms of quality and experience, such as working with Serie A, for this reason I made myself available to support Fabio and Tommaso”.

Three coaches on the same wavelength; also according to Paolini the collaboration of the staff could be effective: “What do we have in common? We have fire inside. Right from the first meetings I noticed a good synergy, starting from the program for the upcoming season”.

Loris Migliari, general manager, concludes with a comment on the choice of having three coaches for next year: “We have tried to strengthen the staff with two professional figures who we believe give added value and a strong help to Fabio. We want to improve support for the team from a corporate point of view, we believe this is a great start.”
