Passion for the profession, dedication, obsessive attention to detail and a great desire to establish oneself at a high level: characteristics that perfectly outline the portrait of Fabio Soli; he will be the one to inaugurate the new technical course of the reigning Italian champion of Itas Trentino for men.
Back from many years of experience in Cisterna di Latina, the forty-three-year-old coach from Emilia has signed a contract with Trentino Volley for the next two seasons and will bring all his already rich knowledge to Trento, enhanced by the enthusiasm offered by being able to start a new stimulating chapter of your career. Despite his young age, Fabio Soli has already covered the role of Head Coach in SuperLega in the last seven years, also accumulating considerable experience in the international arena.
After completing his career as a player in 2011 (he was a setter in Serie A with the shirt of Modena, Crema, Milan and Lamezia), he immediately became Assistant Coach, working alongside particularly important interpreters of the role such as Silvano Prandi, Daniele Bagnoli, Daniel Castellani and Marco Bonitta (in the women’s national team), to then begin his career as head coach. Fenerbahce, Sora (with the conquest of promotion to the top flight), Ravenna, Monza, Cisterna and the Estonian national team are the teams he has already led, always obtaining results above expectations, including two international trophies (Challenge Cup 2013 and 2018) .
Soli is the eighth coach of the men’s training of Trentino Volley, the sixth Italian.
It will be officially presented to the media and fans on Friday 16 June at 11 in the Representative Hall of Palazzo Geremia in via Belenzani in Trento. All interested parties are invited to participate.
