The city of Maribor, in Slovenia, is preparing to welcome the European Youth Olympic Festival, now in its seventeenth edition and which will involve athletes from 50 European countries from 23 to 29 July next. Verona Volley will also be represented in this event of international importance. In fact, Pietro Bonisoli has been included in the squad issued by Coach Zanin and will be the protagonist with the shirt of the Italian selection.
After the silver medal won at the Wevza Tournament and the collegiate preparation held in Zocca (MO) in the last period, therefore, the young free from Verona is preparing to face another important stage of this blue summer. In the first part of the tournament, Bonisoli’s Italy will make their debut on Monday 24 July against Belgium, to then face Greece and Slovenia in the following two days, with the Dras Sports Center hosting the matches. The second phase of the competition will follow.
