2023/24 adventure of the ErmGroup Pallavolo San Giustino begins on Wednesday 16 August, which will face the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship for the second time. The boys available to the coaches Marco Bartolini and Mirko Monaldi will meet at 4 pm at the San Giustino sports hall to pick up the sports material; a brief greeting from the company, with the presence of the managing director Claudio Bigi and the sports director Valdemaro Gustinelli, then around 5 pm the group will move to the “Pampaloni” sports center in Fighille di Citerna, where it will hold first sessions of the preparation phase. Under the orders of the athletic trainer Giovanni Collacchioni and the head coach Mirco Monaldi, the athletes will carry out work with conditioning sessions in these first three days, alternating muscle recovery work on land with propioceptive in the sand and finally in the water to reactivate all the tone muscle. The following week, therefore from Monday 21 August, the work of double sessions will begin: in the morning, the players will be engaged in the GiPoint gym in San Giustino, while in the afternoon – together with work in the Pampaloni sports center – the technical sessions will begin at the sports hall in St. Justin. All for a total duration of eight weeks, which will accompany the team until the beginning of the competitive season, which kicks off on Sunday 15 October at home against Leo Shoes Casarano. The ErmGroup Pallavolo San Giustino company thanks the Pampaloni sports center, in the figure of the owner Roberto Pampaloni, for the availability and service rendered, demonstrating – if needed – all the affection and unconditional love towards the boys. There are 16 players called up for the ErmGroup San Giustino for the training period, to which a 17th has been added: the young setter Tommaso Falorni, another new signing. The total rises to 18 with Nico Cipriani, spiker and blue-and-white opposite of the last two seasons, who has temporarily joined while awaiting the transfer to Tomei Livorno.
