Emma Villas Siena welcomes with satisfaction what emerged today from the provincial supervisory commission on public entertainment venues. Confirmation has finally arrived regarding the possibility of using the PalaEstra, and with the presence of fans and the public, for the team’s internal matches, albeit with reduced capacity. The first phase of the extraordinary maintenance works which were carried out on the roof structure of the sports hall has been completed, on this occasion the Emma Villas Siena company would like to thank all those who have made themselves available over the last few weeks to help make the discomfort as minimal as possible.
Thanks go to the Santa Croce sull’Arno club for having given the opportunity to play the home championship matches at PalaParenti, we can only thank the management and the logistical and organizational staff of the Tuscan club for the enormous availability shown. We would like to thank the Costone basketball club for the possibility given to us to use the PalaOrlandi to carry out the team’s training sessions. We say thank you to all those who followed us and were close to us.
The club today needs the affection and closeness of all its fans and all its partners even more to return to “normality” and to face the commitments of the coming weeks. The team is now awaited by the long and treacherous trip to Castellana Grotte, where the team will play on Sunday 26 November.
The “official” return with a championship match at PalaEstra is set for Sunday 3 December when the team will challenge Cuneo.
