From 2011 to today, except for a few seasons, the name of Elia Bossi, middle blocker from Trieste with 7 appearances for the Italian national team and a bronze medal at the world championship, has been intrinsically linked to that of Valsa Group Modena, the family that also accompanied in these stages of transition to Farmitalia Saturnia. Bossi, with a career full of awards behind him, is ready to wear the blue and white shirt and doesn’t hold back his enthusiasm.
“The fame of Catania volleyball preceded each presentation. I’ve heard of PalaCatania, a warm arena that has seen many high-level players and Sicilian players pass by, in my career, I’ve crossed paths with several. Today I feel charged and confident, what has been proposed to me is an ambitious project full of good energy. It’s still too early to make any kind of assessment, but embracing the cause of a company that has rolled up its sleeves for the double jump increases the value of everything. I recognized in this the validity of a project very similar to the one I experienced in Modena, where, however, I could not have much space. So I immediately seized this opportunity. I am very curious to work with Waldo, I think that finding the amalgam will not be difficult”.
