The long-awaited market hit of Aurispa DelCar has been announced: it is the Italian-Cuban opposite Edwin Arguelles Sanchez, engaged with the Under 21 national team at the category World Cup that is being held in Bahrain.
Sporting director Antonio Scarascia beat the competition and convinced the young spiker, born in 2003, 199 cm tall, to marry the Aurispa DelCar cause. Grew up in the Vero Volley Monza nursery, in the 2021/22 season he was called up to the first team in the Superlega championship, before being named best spiker at the Under 19 National Finals. In the past season, however, he played in Serie A2 with the wolves’ shirt of Santa Croce to then win the call-up of the federal coach Matteo Battocchio to the Under 21 national team.
Now, therefore, he arrives at the court of mister Pelillo, who will have the task of exploiting his full potential.
