Del Monte® Coppa Italia SuperLega today stopped at the headquarters of the Banca di Piacenza in via Mazzini. The trophy won by Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza in Rome, in front of over eleven thousand spectators and the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, was proudly displayed inside the Piacenza credit institute, organizational partner of the red and white club. Shimmering there in a display case together with the game shirt and the ball used in the game. And in another nearby case, the Serie A2 Italian Cup won by the team in 2019 is on display.
Members, customers and fans were able to take souvenir photos and have autographs signed by the French captain Antoine Brizard and the Cuban centre-back Robertlandy Simon who peeped inside the headquarters of the Banca di Piacenza late in the morning.
The red and whites were welcomed by the President of the Banca di Piacenza Dr. Giuseppe Nenna, the Vice President Prof. Felice Omati, the Deputy General Manager Pietro Boselli as well as Elisabetta Curti President of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza.
“President Corrado Sforza Fogliani – underlined Giuseppe Nenna – would be proud of this Coppa Italia, it’s a bit his too. When it came to helping the birth of this club, he was the first to believe in it, I congratulate the club and the team for this important milestone”.

Captain Antoine Brizard underlined that he was “happy to be here, I’m proud of what the team did in Rome but my will is to win even more trophies and for this I will be in Piacenza for another three years”.
The Coppa Italia was won by the red and white team by beating Itas Trentino 3-0 in the final, while in the semi-final, with the same score, the red and white team had defeated the team from Perugia, which had never lost this season and came from 33 consecutive victories .
