From football played to volleyball “voice”: two apparently very distant worlds. For anyone. Not for Nicolò Dalla Gasperina, the speaker of Da Rold Logistics Belluno. Protagonist for over a decade on the green rectangle, now he lends his voice to the rhinos and punctuates every home match with exemplary times and rhythms, as well as an innate ability to involve anyone: young and old, “hardcore” fans and simple enthusiasts or curious .
The Spes Arena on fire with passion, against the battleship Pineto, proved to be an authentic factor for success. And it was the speaker who guaranteed the fuel: «The public had a considerable impact – Dalla Gasperina himself says -. From the end of the fourth set, the climate that was created helped to annihilate the opponents. For my part, I just tried to “connect” with the grandstands. But in reality we were all in symbiosis: from the people in the stands to the athletes on the pitch, up to those on the bench».
“The voice” is at its first experience in the panorama of dunks: «Yes, for me it is a professional novelty. And it’s stimulating: in a certain sense, the strictly reporting role is taken off and one is dressed as a motivator. I’m glad that a good feeling was born with the public». But, during a match, there are also moments of difficult management: «Being proactive can be complicated, when the team doesn’t express itself at its best. The effort must be conducted together: the speaker must try to keep the emotional charge high and push on the accelerator, but it is clear that a lot depends on the progress of the challenge».
Dalla Gasperina has a degree in Exercise Science: «Within the course, I followed the practical and theoretical volleyball lessons with interest. And the manager was Luigi Schiavon, whom I had the pleasure of meeting again at the DRL, as technical manager of the youth sector. In general, volleyball is a sport that I’m passionate about: even more so live. And the atmosphere at the Spes Arena is nothing short of special».
