Once the deadline for submitting admission forms to the Serie A Championships has expired, the Lega Volleyball Serie A Championship Admissions Commission is working on the documents delivered by the Clubs, and will close the minutes by Tuesday 4 July. The material will then be delivered to the Federation and the Board of Directors of the Volleyball League, with the official list of teams participating in the 79th Serie A Credem Banca Championship.
There are 52 Serie A Credem Banca clubs that have applied for admission to the 79th Serie A Championship.
Twelve of these applied to compete in the Credem Banca SuperLega, with Saturnia Acicastello purchasing the title from Callipo Sport Vibo Valentia, while Cisterna Volley presented an application for the acquisition of the sports rights of Top Volley Cisterna.
For Serie A2, 14 registration applications were delivered: Virtus Aversa and Volley Pineto bought the title respectively from Olimpia Bergamo and Saturnia Acicastello.
There were 26 registration requests in Serie A3, including the newly promoted CUS Cagliari which, as required by the regulations, will have until 12.00 on Monday 26 June to present all the documentation, as they won the third and final phase of the Play Offs of Serie B. Stadium Pallavolo Mirandola bought the title from Normanna Aversa Academy, Volley Marcianise from JVS Civita Castellana, Plus Volleyball Sabaudia from Polisportiva Tuscania and finally Gabbiano Top Team Volley Mantova from Volley Pineto. Two of the newly promoted from Serie B, Yaka Volley Malnate and Arno Volley, have renounced their registration for the Serie A3 Championship.
Here is the complete list (with the company names) of the 52 teams that have applied for registration. The denomination used during the championship will be communicated once admission is confirmed.
