«So far we have carried out two joint training sessions with A3 series teams, they were certainly two important moments of growth but now, with the Corigliano-Rossano tournament we will have another important opportunity to test our resilience with teams of our level, this I consider it very useful when the start of the championship gets closer and closer – explains setter Davide Saitta – As regards preparation I can say that we are working very hard and we know well that this is an important phase to prepare for the season that is about to begin and also to test the technical and physical mechanisms of each of us.”
Serbia, the national team in which Pavle Peric and Aleksander Nedeljkovic play, is about to start the pre-Olympic tournament which will see it involved in Japan: it starts on 30 September with Serbia – Turkey (6 am Italian time), then on 1 October again on the field with Serbia – Tunisia, then Serbia – Egypt (3 October), Serbia – Finland (4 October), Serbia – Japan (6 October), USA – Serbia (7 October) and Slovenia – Serbia (8 October).
«At the moment we are training without the players involved in the Olympic qualifiers, this thing obviously doesn’t just happen to us, but when they can train together with us they will certainly raise the level of training a little more – concludes Saitta – We are preparing with great commitment and the group, which is very young among other things, is working really well and is always giving its all in the gym – he continues – I am always witnessing very interesting training sessions and these are all good ingredients that will allow us to prepare for the Better”.
