Sometimes an end and a beginning can coincide. This is the case of the next matchday in SuperLega Credem Banca. The last round of the calendar year is scheduled between tomorrow, Friday 29 December, and Saturday 30. All the teams from the top flight are on the field for the 1st return day of the 2023/24 Regular Season. The efforts of Boxing Day, with the teams engaged on Boxing Day, designed the mid-season ranking, complete with a symbolic winter title in Trento, thanks to the privateer victory on the field of Padua. The top eight teams in the ranking entered the Del Monte® Coppa Italia grid with almost no upheavals. The only change in the standings compared to the pre-existing situation was achieved by Milan, taking sixth place from Modena. While waiting for the exciting appointment with the quarterfinals of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia in a single match, set for 3 and 4 January 2024, the teams are focusing on the first pitfalls after the halfway point. Breaking the ice early on Friday, at 7.00 pm, are Verona and Taranto, teams sailing on the waves of enthusiasm after the Scaliger feat in the Marche and the Apulian redemption against Catania thanks to the first success of the season. The other six matches are scheduled for 6pm on Saturday 30 December. Milan and Modena compete in search of important points: both hosted for the occasion by the imposing Mediolanum Forum in Assago to enhance a match-event, complete with live Rai Sport to allow everyone to admire the show. Also attracting attention is the first of two close matches between Monza and Civitanova, ready to do general rehearsals in view of the Quarter Final of the Italian Cup in Brianza (the two will in fact compete in the Italian Cup on 3 January) . Catania is looking for points to improve a delicate ranking, but Perugia bursts in on its path, which after the comeback suffered against Milan does not want to leave any more points along the way. A tough task also for Padova, which boasts a large public following and focuses on the field factor, but faces a quality team like Piacenza. Finally, the Italian champions from Trento want to stem the enthusiasm of Cisterna, who returned to success on December 26th after a long drought.
