Cargioli in Santa Croce

After the confirmations, the first incoming market shot arrives, by Kemas Lamipel 2023-24. Directly from Bergamo, a team of which he was also captain, here is Antonio Cargioli, 200 cm, “veteran” of A2 Credem Banca with 8 championships played, 6 with Olimpia and 2 with Conad Reggio Emilia. The palmares is rich: Coppa Italia A2 in 2020, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa in 2021, Supercoppa in 2022.
In the 2022-23 season Cargioli was one of the protagonists of the excellent season by Agnelli Tipiesse: coach Morato’s troop (who took over from Graziosi in the championship finale), won the play-off final, coming close to promotion to the Superlega. Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia confirmed to be a step “above”, but the rossoblù team fought until the end showing its value. Kemas Lamipel’s new signing, hampered by a small injury which conditioned the first part of the season, nonetheless carried on a good level tournament. In the total of the A2 Credem Banca championships played, he collected 383 blocks (best season 2018/19 with 0.86 per set), and 1273 points overall, with an average percentage of “perfects” in attack of 59.1 (best season 2019-20 with 67.7%). An expert, charismatic and quality player, able to immediately give his contribution by inserting himself in the mechanisms of coach Bulleri and in the new “6+1″ from Santa Croce.

The Wolves have always been feared and combative antagonists and in these 8 championships spent in A2 I remember a few victories at the Pala Parenti in Santa Croce with the teams I played for (Reggio Emilia and Bergamo in fact). I expect the tradition to continue and that my new building will continue to be, and even more, an impregnable fort. It will be an honor for me to be able to play in front of one of the hottest fans in the A2 championship. I am sure that a competitive team will be set up again this year as in the tradition of the Wolves of Santa Croce. We will immediately try to create a good harmony within the group to allow us to work in the best conditions”.
