For the DRL Volley Team, Giovanni Candeago is not just any player: he is part of the club’s recent history.
Because in Belluno he won a promotion (and a half) and wrote unforgettable pages in the great novel of the Dolomite crushes. But, as in any novel, there is a beginning and a conclusion. And the time has come to write the end of an unforgettable story: after five years of intense emotions, Candeago says goodbye to the DRL. And he is ready to live a new experience, destined to combine work with sport.
The club led by president Sandro Da Rold deeply thanks Giovanni for his contribution and for being an example of tenacity, even in the face of a series of injuries that have conditioned, but not affected the path of the hitter under the vaults of the Spes Arena.
Candeago himself wishes to greet the DRL: «The first three years in Belluno were happy and rewarding; the last two, extremely complex and formative, but I fortified myself a lot. From day one I have tried to give my city and the team everything I have and I hope I have transmitted professionalism and love for this sport. Now I have found a solution that is more congenial to me: I am serene and ready to start again in a new reality and with different but equally important objectives».
