But above all, the ability to plan, organize, to “hold together” the innumerable components that characterize a Serie A3 club: Stefano Da Rold is not only the vice president of Belluno Volleyball. It’s much more. Also because he is always close to the team, to whom he gives smiles, encouragement and some advice. In addition, the ability to play down, even within strict and professional boundaries, makes him one of the reference figures among athletes.
POSITIVITY – «There is a new enthusiasm – says the vice president – also thanks to players with quality and experience. Like the Polish Bucko, the opposite Bisi and an always unleashed Alex Reyes. At the moment I only see positive things: we are on the right path.” Da Rold distributes the responsibilities: «The guys who were with us in previous years have blended well and it is also thanks to them that we can aspire to an improvement».
NOTHING LEFT TO CHANCE – In the meantime, preparation continues at a rapid pace: «And it’s a good thing that this is the case because Sunday matches are won only through training conducted in the best possible way, during the week». Society is increasingly structured. And the technical staff, large and high-quality: «Now there is a widespread organisation, nothing is left to chance. There will certainly be days in which we won’t perform at our best, but I remain confident. He is convinced that Belluno Volley will be competitive.”
INVOLVEMENT – Stefano Da Rold is particularly keen on involving the local area: «As a company, we aim first of all to bring as many people to the arena as possible. We would like to see a Spes Arena always full. And create enthusiasm around us. At that point, the players would also be positively influenced.” The first test of the pre-season is scheduled in exactly one week (Saturday 16 September, 5 pm) against Povegliano: «It will be a year full of novelties and sporting satisfactions. I’m not saying that we will definitely win the championship, much less that we will lose it. I say, however, that in every race we will give our best to get to the top.”
BLUE PERSPECTIVES – A major boost to the entire volleyball scene could be given by Fefè De Giorgi’s Italy, engaged in the European Championships: «It is a locomotive that drives the whole movement.
