Consoli Sferc Centrale is in Sardinia to carry out the most conspicuous part of the pre-season retreat: six days of training and shared life to work on tactics and much-needed group cohesion in the field between departments, as impossible to obtain if not built outside of them.

Over the weekend, athletes will be on the pitch as guests of the Cabras Trophy, a quadrangular event which on Friday and Saturday will bring three A3 teams, in addition to the Toucans, to the Sant’Antioco parquet.

CUS Cagliari: after seven years of staying in Serie B, crosses the finish line of promotion to Serie A3 for the first time in the 2022/23 season. It counts on experienced players such as spiker Calarco, playmaker Kindgard (formerly Lagonegro and Gioia del Colle in A2), central defender Menicali (formerly Ortona) and the Polish band Busch, led by coach Simone Ammendola.

Volley Marcianise: the Campania team, confirmed in A3 thanks to the acquisition of the Civita Castellana title, has renewed its 6+1 which counts on the precious direction of Alfieri and the addition of talented young spikers like Pascucci. Coach Nacci confirmed as technical guide.

Sarlux Sarroch: another newly promoted Sardinian player in the category, chooses the experience as director of Marco Fabroni, eternal rival in many A2 seasons, who will use the Polish Ciupa and the spiker Sideri (formerly Calci and Grottazzolina) on the front line. On the bench Marco Franchi, already a well-known face in A1 and A2, between Latina and Livorno.

The organization of the quadrangular event is entrusted to the ASD Scuola Volley Solki Sant’Antioco Sports Association and with the local team, the VBA Olimpia of Serie C, joint training is scheduled for Thursday 28th at 7pm.
