Belluno Volley has archived the first week of preparation at the Spes Arena. The official debut is still far away, but we are already working hard to get ready for the appointment on October 15th, when the rhinos will face Cus Cagliari in front of the friendly public.
However, training is not enough. It is obvious, almost trivial to underline this: tests are needed, tests on the parquet to verify the condition, oil the game mechanisms, try new solutions. For this reason, the Dolomite club has outlined the calendar with the stages leading up to the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship.
Calendar which is provisional and may be affected by changes and additions. Meanwhile, four comparisons have been defined. The first is scheduled for Saturday 16 September (5 pm), at the Spes Arena, against Gs Povegliano: a team oriented towards playing the lead role on the Serie B stage. And full of exes: specifically, it will be a pleasure to embrace Alex Paganin again, long captain of the rhinos, but also Marco Boz, opposite who came close to being promoted on the field in the spring of 2021, and Alberto Gionchetti, band and, if necessary, free in the 2021-2022 vintage.
A week later (Saturday 23), here is the first away game: in San Donà di Piave, in the presence of a team that the Colussi boys will also meet again in the championship. That is, the Volley Team Club of coach Moretti, in whose roster – speaking of ex Belluno – the central Francesco Guastamacchia appears. Is there some kind of first leg? And the “return” is also foreseen: in the sense that on Wednesday 27 (5.30 pm), the fields will be reversed. Then, to the Spes Arena. Finally, on Saturday 30, all eyes will be on Montecchio Maggiore, where a face-to-face match will take place with an A2 opponent: Manuel Coscione’s Kemas Lamipel Santa Croce and Simone Parodi, two who have worn the national team’s blue shirt on several occasions.
