Were there three tiles missing to complete the Belluno Volleyball mosaic in the 2023-2024 season? Don’t worry, the time for announcements has arrived. Also because tonight (6.30 pm) the athletes’ registration deadline will expire.

The company chaired by Sandro Da Rold closes its staff with the young couple of freelancers, formed by Simone Orto and Elia Fraccaro, while the central battery will be completed by Piergiorgio Antonaci.

Starting right from the middle, Antonaci comes from Puglia: specifically, from Galatina. Twenty-eight years old last April, he is 195 centimeters tall and, after taking his first volleyball steps in the team of his homeland, he moved to Veneto: in particular to Trebaseleghe (B2), in 2015. Then, the landing in Garlasco , before returning to Galatina, where he experienced two A3 championships. And last season he defended the colors of ErmGroup San Giustino. At the Spes Arena many remember him, given that, against the rhinos, he scored 15 points with 3 blocks.

He is young, but Simone Orto already has an important curriculum: the libero, who blew out 19 candles a week ago, is originally from Catania and has just archived an important experience in Ravenna, where he enriched the A2 first team squad. And where he graduated as the Under 19 Italian champion: a title also ennobled by the recognition as the best freestyle in the final stages. Furthermore, a product of the Belluno nursery will act in the same role: Elia Fraccaro. Born in 2005, he stood out with the formation of Serie D, by Poke a Puà, as well as in the youth field. And now he can grow up with rhinos.

The championship group has been revealed, the roster is defined. Whats missing? Simple: the calendar. The scan of the various days will be made official tomorrow (Thursday 13, 2.30 pm), in the presentation at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio (Bologna). The event can also be followed on YouTube: just connect to the Lega Volleyball Serie A channel.
