Penultimate home match of the first round for Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte in the national A2 Credem Banca men’s volleyball championship. On Sunday 17 December 2023, with first serve at 6pm, in fact, for a match valid for the 12th day of the tournament, at the Pala Grotte in Castellana, Consar Ravenna arrives, a team that currently occupies fourth position in the rankings.
The team coached by Bonitta is in an important moment of form as, in the last six days, they have won five times and lost points only with the leaders Grottazzolina (away defeat) and with the vice leaders Prata di Pordenone (home victory in the tie break ). On the other hand, however, a Bcc Tecbus that alternated two consecutive setbacks away from home (with subpar performances in Santa Croce and Prata di Pordenone) with the first home victory of the season (in the midweek round against Aversa). On the horizon for both teams are the last two matches of the first round, a journey that has particular significance especially for the Apulian team coached by coach Simone Cruciani called to shorten the ranking towards the safety quota (currently five points away).
