After two weeks of intense preparation, Banca Macerata is ready to face the first field tests. Tomorrow at 6pm the red and whites will host Erm Group San Giustino for joint training, which will also be their next opponent in the Blue Group of Serie A3. There is a lot of curiosity around the team, extensively renewed and strengthened and ready for its first outing at the Banca Macerata Forum.
“After pushing hard in the weight room in recent weeks, we have started to increase the loads in the gym to be ready to face the court”, says spiker Enrico Lazzaretto, “We are following coach Castellano’s instructions and little by little we are getting used to his ideas, I see good progress from everyone. These first tests will be an opportunity to understand who we are, where we need to improve and what we are missing, and will also allow us to start working more on the game.” With so many new features arriving in Macerata in the summer it is important for you to find the right cohesion as a group, “In my case I knew several of the new players, but despite the few weeks spent together I see a team that is already very united. This year we are a young group, with a great desire to do well, we have fun during training and the common goal is to win. But everything will have to be tested on the field, which is why joint training will be useful, we will have several and they will also tell us if we are developing the right mental approach, which in my opinion is fundamental to obtaining results.”
After San Giustino, Banca Macerata will instead be involved in the away match on Saturday 16th on the Abba Pineto pitch.
