Reggio Emilia roster is completed with the arrival of the spiker Andrea Gasparini.
Gasparini, born in 1996, comes from a season in Serie A3 with Wow Green House Aversa, who will play in Serie A2 after obtaining the title from Bergamo: “There is a big difference between the A2 and A3 championships, because the minor category it is much more competitive; many teams want to go up and make a top championship. The A2 is growing, it is evolving into a difficult and very high level championship, as demonstrated by last season’s standings: the first teams had few points of difference, synonymous with a balanced and competitive group”.
In his sixth season in Serie A, fourth in A2 Credem Banca, the spiker expects to bring home good goals and strongly believes in the Reggio project: “I want to redeem myself from the negative season that has just ended, I was never able to express myself at my best in Aversa of my potential due to physical problems encountered during the season. I chose Reggio because it’s a serious club, where you work well and above all that is attentive to the physical appearance of the players. I was immediately convinced by the project of the club and of coach Fanuli, who made a good impression on me as soon as I met him. It was what I was looking for: redeem myself and return to A2, it’s a league I know and in which I want to play to make myself count. I am convinced we will get some satisfaction; I find that we are a good team and for this I am very optimistic, the goal is to play in the playoffs and then we will see what this new season has in store for us along the way”.
