The collaboration between Allianz Milano and the grassroots sport practiced in the area is increasingly close. Thanks to the consolidated partnership with Csi Milano the new edition of Training for Future has started in recent days, i.e. the meeting point between the champions of the Superlega Credem Banca and the very young enthusiasts registered for the Csi Milano championships.
A special training session at the Powervolley Academy in Piazzale Lotto every Friday evening with one of the players from coach Roberto Piazza’s team as a guest. But it doesn’t end here, on 16 October as part of the official presentation day of the Allianz Milano team of Superlega Credem Banca, after the show in Torre Allianz a “spin off” of Training for Future is planned in two moments in Piazza Duomo . From 2.30pm the Allianz Milano players will train with the very young athletes for an unforgettable afternoon. The details of the event will be communicated shortly, but the world of Milanese and Lombardy based volleyball is already buzzing about this first ever event. A dream that will come true for many young people, dribbling with their favorites: Piano, Ishikawa, Kaziysky, Porro, Loser, Vitelli, Dirlic, Mergarejo, Catania, Reggers, Colombo, Innocenzi and Zonta.
“Exalting the values of life through 0 km sport. This is the philosophy of Training For Future – comments the vice president of Allianz Milano Massimo Achini and president of Csi Milano – Shortening the distance between the champions and the boys and girls is possible. Seeing a player training with a team of teenagers is something wonderful. Because Allianz Milano champions don’t sign autographs or act like “stars”. They train with young athletes and become one of them. This experience is good for everyone. It gives the kids a dream (they will never forget that training) but it also lets the champion experience a unique moment in which he can experience the joy, joy and carefreeness of playing like when he was a child again. I think this is the path for the future of sport which must break down barriers. A strong and permanent alliance between champions and kids.” This year there will be 26 teams from the CSI Milan championships who will have this experience.
