Alex Reyes was discharged yesterday from the “San Martino” hospital in Belluno, where he had been hospitalized since Saturday evening following the ankle injury he suffered during the first test of the season.
The Italian-Cuban spiker underwent a CT scan, but to have a more definitive picture of the real extent of the problem we will have to wait for the outcome of the MRI, already scheduled for Friday 29 September.
Fortunately, Alex feels less pain and is gradually rediscovering the positivity that has always represented his stylistic signature. And it allowed him to immediately enter the hearts of all the fans, staff and teammates of Belluno Volleyball. Now he is at his aunt and uncle’s house and the warmth of his relatives can only benefit a boy capable of combining notable athletic skills with a profound generosity of spirit.
The club, chaired by Sandro Da Rold, intends to stay close to the player and follow him step by step along the rehabilitation process: «The hope is to see Reyes again as soon as possible with the Rhinos shirt on his shoulders, jumping in front of the net and rejoicing together with the audience of the Spes Arena”.
