The roster of the new 2023/24 season of the Lagonegro Volleyball Rebirth is opened by the spiker Alberto Pio Nicotra born in 2002 originally from Catania where he started with the first division and then in Serie D up to Serie B again with Volleyball Rommy Catania, where he will play from 2016 to 2020. In 2020 he will be called up by Sistemia LCT aci Castello in Serie A3 up to Superlega (A1) with Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia in 2022. Last season he returned to home playing in Catania with Farmitalia Catania in Serie A3.
“I don’t know coach Lorizio personally but from the interview he seemed to me to be a somewhat available person and I hope to establish a relationship of full trust and to fully integrate into the Lagonegro family. As a team objective, I hope to be able to achieve all the set objectives such as trying to move up the category and to be able to achieve important successes. I can’t wait to start this new journey.”
