The extension of middle blocker Aimone Alletti, 207 cm, class of ’88 from Codogno (LO), represents an important point of connection and transition from the three-year period of Prisma management to the new cycle that will begin in the 2023-24 season.
Aimone replied to the confirmation by honoring the existing contract with President Bongiovanni’s club, which will see him as a protagonist also for the next season in Taranto.
An athlete of great experience and versatility, who has played with different colors even in the most famous clubs of the Superlega, he has gathered a remarkable technical baggage that allows him to successfully face long and difficult championships and with undisputed human qualities. Aimone does not hesitate to spend words of gratitude and esteem for the Ionian society, recognizing the importance of the relationship established, which lasts over time.
“More than a reconfirmation – declares Alletti – it was natural to continue what we “promised” last year. I had another year of contract and I think the will to continue together was never questioned. Next will be my fourth year here in Taranto. It will become the club where I stayed the longest, and I believe that nowadays such a lasting sporting “marriage” is difficult to find.
