This morning in the PalaPanini press room the partnership with Gruppo SEM was presented, which will include the Acqua Monte Cimone brand on the new Modena Volleyball libero jerseys for the 2023/2024 season. Present were the owner and President of the SEM Group Claudio Turchi and the two liberos of the Valsa Group Filippo Federici and Riccardo Gollini.
“As soon as my partners and I learned of the possibility of becoming a partner of Modena Volley we were enthusiastic – explains Turchi – I would like to thank the management of the company for giving us the opportunity to associate Acqua Monte Cimone with the yellow-blue club, two excellences of our territory. I hope that this partnership will last over time and that it can give visibility and appreciation for our brand. The SEM Group is one of the main producers of mineral water in Italy and is made up of five companies, one of which is service and four are manufacturing. Monte Cimone is the parent company and is located in the Frignano Park, the water is very light and low in sodium, it can also be given as food to newborns. The second source is located in Ventasso, in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, the third is in Nocera Umbra, in the province of Perugia, and is one of the oldest mineral water producing companies in Italy. The fourth source is located on Lake Bracciano and is the Claudia source, it was awarded this year by Gambero Rosso as the best effervescent water in Italy. Our group also produces carbonated drinks, in 2023 it recorded a turnover of around 52 million euros and shipped 400 million bottles, now we are aiming for half a billion by 2024. I see a similarity between our company and Modena Volley, the club gialloblù focuses on a mix of talented young players and experienced players who have already won everything in their career, the same goes for us with our four sources. I would like to thank our Commercial Director Antonio Salvioli who played a fundamental role in starting this partnership with Modena Volley”.
“Now I feel good – continues Federici – I’m getting back into shape on schedule, I’m ready to give 100% in every training session. Winning wasn’t a given in Catania, in this championship every match is difficult and the important thing was to bring home points. The match against Piacenza will be complicated, we are trying to prepare as best we can to be ready. We want to see the PalaPanini full again rejoicing with us, the fans are our extra man. Our first objective was to enter the Italian Cup and we succeeded, now we want to continue to do well on all fronts.”
