Gamma Chimica Brugherio and Vero Volley Monza will compete for the gold medal of the 30th edition of the Del Monte ® Junior League Final in the Marche region. The two winning teams of their respective Groups therefore access the final act of the event scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday 4 June, at 16.00. Final which will enjoy an excellent television production, and will offer a planetary showcase to the best young Italians thanks to the live broadcast on YouTube.
On the tricolor field of the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova, the Diavoli Rosa start immediately strong in the Semifinal, overcoming Trento 25-22 in the first set. Returning to the field, the gialloblù formation gets up again (19-25), but in the third set it is still the Chemical Range that leads the dance by returning the 25-19 of the previous set to the sender. In the fourth act, the Brianzas are in a hurry to close, despite the attempt of the Dolomites to get back into the race with a very high caliber wall. Laurenzano and his companions manage to scare their opponents (18-17), who are however able to safeguard the safety buffer with a high-performance service (25-21). Trento will play for the podium with Padova.
In the match staged at the PalaPrincipi, the Semifinal between Vero Volley Monza and Pallavolo Padova opens under the banner of competition, with the two sextets fighting for every ball in an infinite set without masters. The Lombard group keeps its nerve and imposes itself 28-26 at the photo finish in the first set. The Paduans don’t stop fighting and they make their own space even in the second set, but in the final Monza passes the lucidity of Monza prevails for 25-22 which puts the opponents in crisis. The third act certifies Lombard supremacy. Monza takes the reins of the game and inflicts a more marked gap on the opponents, who tomorrow will play for third place against Trento.
Before the Semifinals, at the PalaPrincipi, WithU Verona prevailed in the tie break against Emma Villas Aubay Sienain the Finale for the 9th place at the end of a daring and hard-fought challenge, while at the Eurosuole Forum, Top Volley Cisterna earned the 7th th place thanks to the 3-1 comeback inflicted on Sir Safety Susa Perugia , who after winning the first set suffers an empty round in the second and then fights in the following ones without however regaining the lead of the game.
