“I am enthusiastic about the prospect of wearing the Ravenna shirt – admits Menichini -: it presents me with a good opportunity for my growth path, the best I could have had and I think I can learn a lot. I was in contact with other clubs, but then the opportunity came up to come and play in Ravenna and I didn’t think twice: it’s the ideal place to grow and improve, also because I’ll find department colleagues from whom I’ll be able to learn a lot, start with Mengozzi. I obviously know him by reputation but I’ve never had the opportunity to see him up close: having him as a teammate can only benefit me”.
With Menichini and Chiella there will be 8 out of 13 players born between 2003 and 2006: a squad that is still very young but full of talent and perspective given also the many athletes in the youth national teams.
