Serbian middle blocker Nemanja Masulovic joins Catania.
“I am super excited to be part of the project that Saturnia is building for the new season. It is exciting to be able to compete in one of the prestigious championships in the world such as the Italian SuperLega and I think I am joining a very combative group that has conquered, individually or in groups, important objectives. I’ve never been to Sicily and can’t wait to visit this part of Italy that I’ve heard amazing things about. The Serbian League is very valid for the development of a player, but its level is still far from that of the Italian SuperLega. Perhaps, by investing in the younger generations, and bringing the best Serbian players back to the home teams, we can hope to have something similar, but in the meantime, aim for this all-Italian season. I have high expectations and, seeing the names of this group emerge, I know that we will be able to achieve important goals starting with that of working well together. I will give my contribution, great energy, team spirit to support my teammates”.
