The first training of the 2023 Preseason ends with an unprecedented 2-2 (25-19, 25-15, 22-25, 25-27) for New Mater Volley Castellana Grotte, a club registered in the next national championship Serie A2 Credem Banca di men’s volleyball: at the Pala Grotte di Castellana the team coached by coach Simone Cruciani clashes with Just British Bari (team registered in the next A3 Blue group series).
Two sets each in the first seasonal test yesterday, Wednesday 13 September, therefore, with the first two sets won by the home team and the remaining ones won by the guests and with the first indications in view of the next matches.
Fanizza diagonally with Bermudez, Pol and Iervolino spikers (both in double figures, among the most prolific on the final scoreboard), Balestra and Ceban central, Battista libero the first starting line-up of coach Cruciani who, during the match, then made also rotate the other players available (Rampazzo even if only for a few points due to a slight injury, Princi, Ciccolella, Menchetti and Guadagnini) with the exception of Nicola Cianciotta, who remained on the bench as a precaution.
