Big shot of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza: the opposite Yuri Romanò will wear the red and white shirt in the next two seasons.
Born in Monza, class of 1997, Yuri Romanò last season wore the Milan shirt and is one of the most promising Italian opposites. Two seasons ago he was the best opponent of the Serie A2 championship.
A winning blow for the company of president Elisabetta Curti who ensures another great Italian talent in the team: Yuri Romanò, 203 cm tall, 24 years old, left-handed, is currently busy with De Giorgi’s national team in the first leg of the VNL. The brilliant opposite started playing in the youth teams of Volleyball Bollate and then moved on to the ranks of the Brugherio Devils with whom he also made his debut in Serie B, in the 2017-18 season he wore the shirt of Goldenplast Potenza Picena in the A2 championship and then in 2018 he was a protagonist in Serie A2 with Bergamo, winning the Badiali Award as the best Italian Under 23, a title he defended also the following season with the Siena shirt.
Great pride for the red and white club to hire another Italian talent with a sure prospect in his role, the same pride that invests this boy in his second season in the SuperLega.

I think he is a player with great offensive potential, he plays a fast ball and his arrival will allow us to have many solutions as far as the playing possibilities are concerned ”.
