Welcome visit this morning of WiMORE Parma to Giocampus Estate, the summer center in its twenty-first edition organized by the Giocampus Educational Alliance and coordinated by prof. Elio Volta in the sports area of Cus Parma within the University Campus of Parma. The opposite Matteo Beltrami, the middle blocker Robert Stefan Chirila and the liberos Mattia Cereda and Alessandro Zecca, accompanied by the operational director Alberto Raho, were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the over 300 children aged between 5 and 14, who for thirteen weeks (a total of 4700 presences) delight in multi-sports, laboratory and didactic activities. After an introduction on stage, urged by the questions of the head of the instructors Andrea Cenci, the four Gialloblù athletes, who will participate in the Serie A3 Credem Banca national championship, performed in a spectacular two against two, which then expanded with the insertion of boys and girls on both sides of the field.
A moment of fun closed by the delivery of the Giocampus t-shirt and backpack to the WiMORE Parma color bearers, one of whom, Matteo Beltrami, was already a protagonist of the summer camp in the past, first as a member and then as an instructor. “It’s always nice to come here, the first time I was seven and I was still a child like them. This summer I made my first appearance as an instructor, today I returned as a Volley Parma player to entertain the boys. We hope we have made them a little passionate about our sport. Now they only have to think about having fun, then having fun little by little you learn a lot of things, you get passionate and from there the rest comes as a result. We expect many of them at PalaRaschi on the first day of the championship against Garlasco ”.
