On 1 September the players Alberto Elia and Romolo Mariano participated, representing the Volley Tricolore club, in the evening dedicated to “Viva Vittoria” organized by the SENOnALTRO association: a group of breast operated women who decided to help and support other women in such a difficult time in their lives.
The evening, hosted by the Corte dei Landi farmhouse in Reggio Emilia, allowed Dr. Alessia Ciarocchi to illustrate in advance the results of the research funded by the project. Present at the evening, conducted by Stefania Bonadavalli, doctors and researchers of the Ausl IRCCS, the volunteers of the Associations, the founders of the Viva Vittoria format, the representatives of the institutions and the players of Volley Tricolore Reggio Emilia and Valorugby Emilia.
“The evening was very pleasant as well as beautiful. – begins the external spiker of Reggio Emilia Mariano – We were welcomed by everyone and we had a wonderful dinner with the people present. The theme was very important and we were honored with the invitation, we were able to listen to what cancer research is, but above all to discover what the researchers on the front line do every day to seek solutions to these evils and how the associations stand alongside. to those who suffer and need help ”.
Alberto Elia, central and Giallorossi captain also tells us: “It was a pleasant evening of sharing and solidarity. Together with Romolo we had the opportunity to understand how important research is and to support it. The evening culminated with an exquisite dinner, during which we were able to exchange opinions and ideas with representatives from the world of medicine, research, sport and civil society ”.
