Here we are: the 2022/23 roster of Volley Team San Donà di Piave is ready. It is completed by the central Christian Mazzanti, who joins Fabio Dal Col (arrived from Prata with whom he was promoted to A2) and Fabio Trevisiol (arrived from Volley Portogruaro).
Christian, born in 2000 and a native of Senigallia, has always played with Virtus Fano if not for two brackets in B with the Nova Volley Loreto shirt (2019/20 and last season 2021/22).

Hi Christian! Can you give us a summary of your volleyball career?
“I started playing volleyball since I was 10 in Fano and the first years, if not for two years in Pesaro where I was part of a selection of players, I have always been there. In 2017/18 I did the first year in B as central third and the following year we won the same championship. I then went on loan to Loreto, also in B, to then stop for a year due to personal problems. Last year I returned to Loreto (B) to resume a little hand “.
Are you inspired by any particular player?
I really like bands but as a central I can only mention Simon who in recent years is unstoppable, a phenomenon.
What prompted you to choose the VTC?
First of all because I’ve always heard good things about it. In addition, I played against it a couple of times in the youth teams, both in some tournaments and in the National Finals and it made a good impression on me as a club.
What team and personal goals do you want to set for next season?
We definitely need to team up right away. It is the first important brick to find the right harmony even on the pitch. Personally I want to do well and repay the trust that has been placed in me being my first year in A3.
